Quattroporte GTS The Maserati Quattroporte is an extraordinary car, and its design is no less impressive. Since 1963, the challenge of stylistically combining the sporty performance and the classical elegance of the most famous Italian luxury sedan has fascinated the greatest designers: Pietro Frua, Bertone, Giorgetto Giugiaro, Marcello Gandini and Pininfarina. Now, the model that represents the epitome of the Maserati philosophy has been restyled in line with tradition, the perfect synthesis of luxury and power. Although considerably larger in size, the new Quattroporte is a worthy successor to its forebears, retaining a streamlined and utterly dynamic look. The first detail of this unmistakable design is the distinctive front: the traditional Maserati oval grille, which leads on to the majestic bonnet and the new front light assemblies, with LED day lights. A stylistic feature which makes the car immediately recognizable. Getting into the Quattroporte is like entering an exclusive lounge. Although extremely intuitive, the on-board controls are understated so that they don’t steal the limelight from the real stars: the surfaces and materials. The Poltrona Frau® leather, the fine wood and the stitching, styled according to the finest hand-crafted traditions, seamlessly follow the sleek lines of the dashboard, central tunnel and doors, enveloping the passengers in an atmosphere of luxury. Maserati has always been famed for its innovative engine design: in this respect the new 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 installed on the Quattroporte sets new standards, with a long list of sophisticated solutions that make this the most high-tech propulsion unit ever installed on a Maserati car. With its 530 HP, it takes the Quattroporte past 185 mph with ease. The Maserati Quattroporte is a car forged by expertise and passion and produced with craftsman-like care. However, this is still not enough to make it unique: therefore, the final touch of class is left to the customer, who can choose colours and materials for every detail to enhance one or more facets of the character of this Italian design gem. Personalization that results in a unique car every time. Quattroporte S - S Q4 The Quattroporte S is unmistakably Maserati. The eye is drawn from the classic oval grille and over the imposing bonnet, a feature inspired by the GranTurismo and other great models created by the marque. The black, concave, vertical bars pay homage to an iconic model from the past, the A6 GCS berlinetta, and contrast with the grille’s sleek chrome border. The Maserati trident takes pride of place in the centre. The interior of the Maserati Quattroporte S allows occupants the extravagance of a luxurious drive. The dashboard is set out on three levels and is dominated by a broad centre section that adds a renewed sense of space and lightness. In the middle of the dashboard is the large Maserati Touch Control touchscreen that can be used to manage the car’s many entertainment and information systems. The 3-litre Twin Turbo V6 fitted to the Quattroporte S has the Quattroporte GTS V8’s sporty edge; the two units also share most of their components. The bore spec and combustion chamber design are unchanged, as is the technology that controls the valves and direct injection. These refined solutions allow the V6 to develop 301kW (410 HP) at 5500 rpm. The versatile V6 unit that equips the Quattroporte S thrills whenever the driver steps on the accelerator, with the power coming through loud and clear. These extraordinary figures see the Quattroporte S sprint to 0-62 mph, from a standing start, in only 5.1 seconds and 4.9 on the Q4 version. It boasts a top speed of 177mph and 175mph for the Q4. Compactness, lightness and efficiency characterise the Quattroporte S’s Q4 four-wheel drive system. In order to provide the sensations typical of a rear-wheel drive Maserati in low grip conditions, the system continually and intelligently varies the power delivered to all four wheels. In normal conditions, the Q4 system relays 100% of the torque to the rear wheels but, in low grip conditions, or when the rear end loses grip, drive is sent to the front axle in just 150 milliseconds to balance out the power delivery. This set up ensures that sporty handling is combined with excellent safety levels. The Maserati Quattroporte S, like the other models in the Quattroporte range, can be modified to suit the driver’s tastes. Drivers can, for example, opt for three other types of prestigious wood rather than a briarwood finish for the dashboard, central tunnel and door inserts: Erable, Tanganika or Ebony.

The F12berlinetta not only ushers in a whole new generation of Prancing Horse 12-cylinders but is also the most powerful and high performance Ferrari ever built. It is a shorter, lower and narrower car than the previous V12 coupé. Weight distribution is ideal too (54% at the rear) while the centre of gravity is lower and has been moved rearwards in the chassis.
